I was having lunch with a friend the other day and the topic of overalls came up – would I wear them? Erm, probably not. To me, they seem dated, 70s/80s trend…though I don’t really know my style periods, I’m also pretty short (not the best look), heh.
I think that apart from the obvious worker practicality of them, a particular sort of person would wear them now, dare I say….hipsters? I’ve only recently seen them worn by a waitress in a rather hipster-y cafe, and she did indeed pull them off.
Who knows, they could be making a comeback. Fashion does come and go in cycles.
